Good news on the leak...
No more rain! At least not for the immediate future. :)
But I don't trust Oklahoma weather forecasts completely (how can you?), so the tarps are staying put for the time being. Sometime in the next few days maintenance is supposed to fix the roof on my building. We'll see how that holds up. Apparently several other people called with leak complaints too, so hopefully that means a bigger fire under their butts.

My mom gave me the belated second half of my birthday present last night, including a silver ring with a square-cut pale blue aquamarine, my birthstone. Nothing too flashy - which I wouldn't have wanted anyway - but still pretty. :) I've always wanted something with my birthstone. My sister and I have joked that it's fortunate I have such a relatively cheap one - and that since hers is a diamond, she'll probably never get anything with it, certainly not from me. ;)
