Wow.

I think that's the first time I've only laughed out loud once at an episode of The Office. Maybe it's that I was tired/felt in a funk both times I viewed it. Maybe it's the hour-long format.

My one real laugh was at Jim's little wave after Pam turns down Ryan. *g* That whole scene was easily the best in the episode for me. Well, I did let out a chuckle at Kelly's TH headshake after she lies to Ryan about being pregnant. Ha.

I mean, there was cute/clever stuff in there - Michael making a list of TWSS comments in advance, Creed's printer-ink dye job, Garbage the cat, the jar of "Great Scott" dressing on Michael's desk during lunch with Jan, the GPS saying to "Make a U-Turn if possible," Michael's last line about computers trying to kill you. I just didn't LOL at it.

But other stuff, like Michael driving into the lake, and freaking out on the ex-client at the end... yes, I get the lake thing was likely Michael just trying to prove how unreliable technology is, but it all just felt flat/awkward to me, and not in the good/funny way TO usually does. Again, maybe it's just my mood.

Wow, when did Toby become such a douche? Don't do that, Toby. :( Phyllis is kind of a bitch, too. Heh.

Jan/Melora is much prettier when not buried in makeup. I liked the undecurrents of tension in her scene with Ryan. Sort of a "I can still cut you down, little bitch" vibe. *g* It's nice to see non!crazy Jan.

And... well, that's really all I can think of for now. I'll view it again at some point, but when this weird mood/funk of mine has past.
