Still here
I know I've not written much of late but really, things here have been fine, more or less.
We went visiting for Xmas. My parents on Xmas Eve and in-laws on Xmas day. Good food and fun times all around.
One of the kidlet's favorite prezzies was from my folks. They got her a really pretty (blue and medium grey with stainless steel barrel) .22 rifle. It fits her much better than the one she had been shooting. She's looking forward to more shooting once it gets a bit warmer.
I got a lovely pair of dresses from sequential_scott! Plus books, CDs, DVDs, scissors, and lots of other good stuff from others. Looking forward to using the canning book and the book on Victorian masquerade costumes.
I got S. a mat cutter for his art stuff and K. got him part one of season 6 of Dr. Who. We've zoomed through it, picked up the second half, and zoomed through it, too. Like the idea of the TARDIS stealing the Dr.!
Enjoyed hanging out the niece and nephew, Xmas day. Both were dears and cute as bugs. (I knit the niece a ladybug poncho with pompom yarn for the black dots. I can't wait to see her in it. I hope it's as cute as I think it is! ;-p)
I've taken the week between Xmas and New Year's off, so really it's been delightfully leisurely.
Started thinking about what I want to do in the New Year and besides exercise more and finish my freaking UFOs (unfinished objects) already, my list is pretty short.
