Been a while since I last posted. Not really a lot going on. Work is still cool. House is still cool. Car is still cool. Nothing major going on. Went to WAR. It was wet and cold but it was still nice to relax.

A busk is the front closure piece to the corset, it has one side with loops and the other side has sort of raised buttons that snap onto the loops. It's weird, but if you look at a nice corset you'll know what i mean. you don't have to make a corset with a busk, some styles are only open at the back. you can also do a hook-and-eye closure for the front, but you'll need to reinforce the front with boning.
be sure to get coutil fabric to line with, it will hold the best resistance.
Oh, and a good idea is to make a practice corset first out of cheap fabric to get the pattern fitted right and help you learn how to do it so you don't mess up expensive nice fabric.
There are corseting lj groups and if you spend enough time on the internet looking, you will find a wealth of help.
