a. a meme i was meant to do an age and half ago: give me a fannish topic and i'll meta for at least 100 words. then i'll give you a topic to meta on for at least 100 words.

b. i watched the family, mostly for diana agron's face. it was a pretty entertaining movie about a mafia family in witness protection attempting to fit into a small french town. it definitely could have ended less abruptly. the movie sort of tried to play it off as "back to normal" humour, which didn't gel with the actors expressions of "emotionally damaged"? and really, the final shots didn't work with the humourous parody tone of the rest of the movie at ALL.
however i will recommend it for the simple fact that diana agron literally DESTROYS a creepy dudebro with a tennis bat and puts the fear of all womankind into his friends.
c. i have watched catching fire. i found it pretty entertaining. that's about all? i have seen no other movies (THOR 2 THOR 2 THOR 2) however so that's been v annoying.
d. I WATCHED SEVEN SEASONS OF THE WEST WING AND NOW I'M A MESS. (i have read so much damn fic in the last 2 weeks. so much. weep for me.)

- intense arguments/fights that are a subtextual stand in for making out/sex
- TRAINING MONTAGE
