Work, stew (delicious, delicious stew)

I just spent most of a brilliant summer day doing work instead of properly wasting it. My summer job is the same as last year, it's still mindnumbingly boring. This is why I've been collecting audiobooks and podfic for the last few months. But at least the people remember me and are nice, and I think everybody I didn't like last year quit. So far I have not destroyed anything.
I made delicious, wonderful, nommy stew. Two big portions are right now sitting in my stomach and humming contentedly. The stew was surprisingly stew-like, even though I've never made stew before, didn't have a recipe and also have eaten stew exactly once. I'm going to eat if for breakfast tomorrow, and also for lunch.
I'm sitting outside in the dark in a t-shirt right now. Can you imagine what a wonderful warm day this would have been if I hadn't had to work?
