Improvise. Adapt. Overcome.

Last weekend was spent mostly watching films. Which generally makes me happy, but this was more than pleasurable. :-)

First of all I got to see Labyrinth (1986). And besides the obvious OMG!Isolovetolittlebitsandpieces response... I'm a bit divided. On the one hand, I'm sorry that I never knew about it's existence as a child (well, after all - it ( Read more... )

I of course knew that *you* liked it! ;-)

+ for Cat People: love interest for Nastassia (forgot her character's name) is hot, in my book at least.

- for Cat People: Nastassias brother, who tries to get with her (?!) is ugly, and in a lot of the film. Yeah, maybe that's not what I should focus on. *snickers*

Now this reminds me that I've still not seen 2nd half of "Close My Eyes". Should perhaps do that, after I've recovered somewhat from recent violent Bowie-lust and Irons-obsession and ditto Eastwood-craziness. May take a while.

I've only seen Close My Eyes once, but I remember there's a sex scene with Alan (is it bad that's one of the only things from that movie that sticks out in my mind?) Can't remember if it's in the first or second half though.

Also, may I ask who that is in your icon? I've always wondered!

oh, that you remember...? Yeah, I was kinda surprised myself when it came up, first not paying more than average attention to the scene, thinking it was between Alan's "wife" and her brother but then I went OMG! It's nekkid!Alan there!!! *goes wide-eyed* The way I remember it, you can't see the his face until some time into the scene, so ( ... )

Ahaha, that's the same exact thing that happened with me. I was just kinda like, "Meh..... .. .... ALAN!!! *Proceeds to drool*"

I know what you mean about owning more than one copy of something; I myself have many copies of random Bowie things! My mom thinks I'm crazy. But, feh.. what does she know?

Yes, that's the icon I meant. :) I've never heard of that show, but it sounds like I'd enjoy it! Sarcasm is one of my favourite things, so I'll definitely have to check it out. ;)
