Hmmmm...
Not much happening here.
My seatwork-homework class standing so far in Math is at 95%, so that's a good thing. Particularly enjoyed that. I'm missing 8 Mile on HBO. That's a bad thing. I hope I don't miss Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course tomorrow. That would be a bad thing.
I was watching Crocodile Hunter this morning, and in this particular episode, Steve Irwin was after alligators in America. He got to swim with them. He caught one that was putting up a good fight, but when he brought it up out of the water, my heart broke. This gator had nasty scars and scratches on her back, and half her tail had been cleanly chomped off. Her right foot was now only a stump. It was heartbreaking to see, and yet so wonderful at the same time, because she was still putting up a strong fight. She really tired Steve out, and when Steve let her go, she tried her best to swim away quickly, which is hard to do if half your tail has been cut off. Alligators, unlike crocodiles, use their tails as sort of propellers, so to have only half of what it really was is pretty difficult, but she did it. There was so much strength in her. If emotional strength counted out in the wild, then she'd definitely make it out there.
It's times like these when my theory that humans can learn a lot from animals is confirmed. Some people underestimate that. They should watch Croc Hunter. They'd be surprised what they could learn.
