"Because, Chiana, it was an Androgen. We were lucky to have it manifest so early, so that it could be caught and terminated before it would have to suffer through a life of unconformity. This is more merciful."
She knew not to argue with that tone, and didn't let her tears show until later, curled in the protective arms of her brother.
"I just wanted to have a little sib, like you've got, Nerri."
"I know, Chi-Chi. I know. Someday, we're gonna get out of here, you and me and any others who come along. Brothers and sisters, free."
Gotta admit - this really is just the Farscape answer to "A Malfoy's Duty" and is really not ground I havn't covered before. Though I havn't done it in this fandom, and I do like what this says about the Nebari...
I swear to god, by the way, that all my siblings are living. My mum had a brother she never met, though, and so did my little cousins, and I was once almost a godmother, so that might be where I keep getting this from... I dunno. Maybe I'm just morbid.
