I write comment fic!
I wrote zoe_chan commentfic to cheer her up the other day, but the post is locked, so reposting here. I doubt she'll mind. ;) No title, also set in the nebulous future when Tim and Cissie are married--Sadie is their daughter, btw.

Cissie woke when Tim came to bed. According to her clock, it was almost 3:30. "Hey," she murmured thickly, not awake enough to shift from her side or even look over her shoulder at him.
Tim didn’t answer, but slid closer, wrapping his arms around her. He pulled her close and pressed his face into her shoulder.
She snuggled back against him and covered his arms with hers, twining their fingers together. "Hey," she repeated, more clearly this time. "What happened, hon?"
He shook his head. "Nothing." His voice was hoarse and he tightened his hold on her.
"Hmm." She rubbed his arms absently. "Will I see it on the news in the morning?"
Tim was silent before grunting and turning his face to bury it in her neck. "Maybe. Maybe not-Bruce had a busier night."
"Did you catch who did it?"
"Yes." Tim’s reply was quick and had a sharp edge to it.
Cissie shivered a little. "Good."
Tim curled even closer to her, exhaling slowly. After a few moments of holding her, he let go just enough to move his hand to her belly. He rubbed it, moving his fingers in an idle pattern. "I love you," he muttered in her ear. "You, Sadie, the baby-you know I love you. Right?"
"You have to ask?"
"No."
Cissie rolled in his arms, touched his face. "We know you love us. You know we love you-Right?"
He smiled a bit tensely. "I know."
She nodded, and kissed him. "Good." She rolled over again and pulled his arms back around her, burrowing against him. She let her eyes shut. "I’m tired, so I won’t push it tonight, but tomorrow I’m definitely asking about what brought this on."
Tim laughed lightly, and relaxed. He settled against her and kissed her neck. "Deal," he whispered. "Go back to sleep, sweetheart."
"You sleep too," she murmured. "I love you. Night."
"I love you. Good night, Ciss."
