I'm really bored at work so I'm just gonna ramble a bit here on what's going on in my mind right now.

I need to make a video because I want to learn Avid and I want i be something I can show the editors/ asst. editors here, but I don't know what sort of video to edit. I'm thinking of a music video to Holding Out For a Hero showing clips of different heroes. I can make cuts in the music and such to practice that aspect ( Read more... )

My job is pretty good. Nothing too exciting and I get loads of downtime, but at least it's something I can handle and I'm where I need to be to learn more about trailer editing. It's fun and hopefully I can climb up the ladder quickly to earn more money for an apartment ( Read more... )

It's official! The CEO of a wonderful trailer house in LA said he wants me ot work with him as soon as I'm available. I actually had tears in my eyes when I read the e-mail.
