It's been a good weekend. I started my Japanese classes on Saturday. I'm SO FREAKING EXCITED!! Our professor is actually Japanese, born and raised in Okinawa. She barely speaks any spanish but her english is ok. She's a super cool lady and told us many things about Japan and about the experiences that her previous students have had both in the class, with the language and when they made the trip to Japan ^__^ I can't wait for Saturdays now. It's 3 & 1/2 hours of my favorite language ever. I already feel empowered and motivated just after the first class. Gotta start watchign them dramas with no subs ~__^
Right after the class on Saturday Lizy, her friend Natalia and I went off to have sushi 'cause we were that excited about Japan lol We had sushi at a place called Samurai. They made us a very delicious meal. We ordered Miso soup, gyoza dumplings and three different rolls of sushi. Everything was delicious and look marvelous.
And then on Sunday one of my best friends came over with *drum roll* Non other than ALL ABOUT DBSK SEASON 3~~
Finally saw it. Wel at least the first three CDs or so. Their Saipan Vacation was hilarious. LOVED IT!! Loved seeing the guys running around doing very stupid things and getting their legs (and other extremities *hint hint wink wink*) all fucked up playing football (soccer). Couples talks were also entertaining, loved JaeChun they were adorable and YooSu, hehehe they made me laugh a lot. Also JaeMin, teehee, those two are like oil and waters sometimes *rolls eyes* And to honor the asian culture (but also to introduce our dear Karla into Asian food xDD double agenda) I made Onigiri filled with tuna in tomato sauce (had some sofrito in it, if not it wouldn't be a Puerto Rican cooking the damn thing lol) we made dumplings and miso soup as well (you know, of the instant kind). She liked everything well enough, not loved it but I was happy. ^__^ Brought the left over onigiri for lunch today.
And lastly I was stuck on bad traffic on friday and was pissed at people for being so stupid during traffic jams and I was pissed at my car 'cause the airconditioning isn't working (it's fucking hot as hell in tropics). But then I saw the beautifully setting sun behind a big chunk of clouds, floating just above the roof of the Plaza Las Americas mall. . . It looked so beautiful. The light that shone through the clouds in streaks made me forget about all the stupid things that were making me angry at that moment.
Ja mata ne!!
