Synopsis: When a vampire gives a human their blood, and that human is to be there mate, they gain the ability to bear their mate a child. Sin's one of these Lucky few, not only that but he's the kings mate. He'd know since the day his parents died, and Reno promised to keep him safe. As he reaches mating age he becomes much more desireable, can Reno keep his word?

“Do you always have to sneak up on me?” Shin asked as Reno swept the boy into his arms and kissed his nose plafully.
“You know, as a matter of fact I do.” He replied with a grin. “Because you’re expression is so cute!” Reno smiled before he carried the other into the bedroom and set him down. “Tonights the night you turn eight right?” Reno grinned a little bit. “That means ten years exactly until we get to be married.”
“Does that mean I get a present!?” Shin asked excitedly and Reno gave a chuckle before going out and returning with a large bag.
“Happy birthday princess.” Shin gave a happy squeel as he took the bag and found a the different little gifts, including some coloringbooks and a handheld gave system, but by far the little boy’s favorite was a black and white stuffed cat Reno had found for him. “Do you like your gifts?”
Shin nodded kissing the kings lips happily. “You’re so good to me Reno-kun.” He sighed as the lay in the bed curled up.
“I don’t know how much longer I can keep coming here. My servants have been covering out visits thus far, but don’t be scared if I don’t return. I’ll send someone to protect you.” He whispered stroaking Shin’s hair.
“But your promised…” Shin looked up his blue eyes looking hurt and Reno looked away. “You said that you’d always keep it.”
“I will do all I can, I might be locked away though. However someone will always be protecting you, and my mind will never be far from you.” He whispered his lips trailing along Shin’s jaw. “They’ll either do that or try to make me give you up. I will never let them do that. I’d never regret a moment of holding you, you’re my future mate after all..” He grinned slightly and Shin nodded a little his pink lips forming a little smile.
“I won’t regret it either then.” He smiled brightly and nuzzled Reno’s neck. “So promice what ever happens You’ll be back when I’m eighteen?”
“Always.” The words made Shin smile. “You’re my obsession darling, how can I let go of you.” Reno kissed him deeply and let Shin hold him tightly. “She hit you again.”
Shin drew back blushing darkly. “It doesn’t hurt much now…” He lifted his shirt showing Reno the dark bruise. The vampire bent down gently kissing the aching flesh and gave a sigh.
“Oh the things I'd do to get you out of here....” Reno whispered as Shin drifted off holding tight to the man he knew he’d oneday be married too. Reno slid off the long coat Shin held fast too before leaving with a whispered, “I love you.”
Reno snuck into his room through the balcony doors. He walked over quick to get rid of the clothing that held his lover’s sweet scent. “Reno, you have that same human’s scent on you. You need to stop seeing that boy.” The vampire prince turned to see his father standing as he changed his clothing.
“I’m all he has, father. Besides, I’ve already marked him as my mate.” Reno snarled glaring at the man. “I promised him that I’d never renounce him.”
“Then we have no choice.” He gave a loud noise of displeasure as several gaurds grab onto him. “Seal him away, the boy’s birthday is tonight, I over heard you telling one of your servants, how many years until he’s of age?”
“Ten.” Reno smirked darkly seeing the horror on his fathers face. “I love him none the less.. You can not stop it.”
“You dare to defile such a young innocent?!” His father seemed disgusted. “Seal him away until the boy’s of age.”
