I liked the Luke/Lorelai stuff, mainly because I think its leading to problems.

You might be onto something. I can't shake the feeling that something bad is gonna happen. And what's the deal with them not even touching? It's starting to really bug me.

Sookie & Jackson though were bizarre tonight. That was rude.

I *almost* disliked Sookie tonight, and that is saying a lot since I usually love her. What was up with all the yelling? That was so annoying!

It's strange, people have been hating Rory since the beginning of this season if not earlier, and it's not until this episode that I jumped on that particular bandwagon. Her bossy attitude is beyond pissing me off. She's becoming a really bad version of Emily. And throughout the whole time I was watching her, I was thinking that Lorelai was right when she told her parents that they're finally getting the daughter they've always wanted. Running away from that life makes me love Lorelai even more.

I loved Richard in this episode too, and I know Lorelai is acting childish, but I can't help but side with her. Richard and Emily really aren't dealing with Rory the way they should, they're letting their egos and the fact that Rory came to them instead of her mom get in the way of their judgements. I'm so looking forward to next week's Richard/Lorelai scene.

Rory exceling at organizing the event reminded me more of Lorelai than Emily. The way Lorelai used to organize wedding's and such at the independence inn.

That's what I associated it with as well. I had thought you weren't watching GG anymore.

It's like relapsing into an old addiction. Technically I haven't watched any episodes this season in their entirety. Okay, I confess to being weak. My heart isn't fully in gg like it was before.

Heh. I had wondered if that would happen with me with Alias, but I've not been home so it hasn't.

You have a point about her organizational skills, it's just her attitude that's really bugging me. She's getting a little snobbish and it's totally unlike her.

I could rant and rave for eons on how bizarrley I think Rory is written. I'm trying to give Rory some slack in the face of incredibly difficult characterization. *sigh* I won't give up on her. I'm stubborn that way.

L & L have been odd to me all season, but since I don't ship them I usually don't talk about it. I don't really count, IMO. But the lack of open communication about their feelings, or expression, to now the touching, its been strange to me.

Sookie I normally love. Tonight she drove me bonkers.

I've mostly been ambivelant about Rory on her own. I've not liked any of her boyfriends till Logan, and its not that I ship them even, I just love him. But I find her blah in a sea of very strong, engaging characters. This season though I've found myself just not liking her.

Richard and Emily really aren't dealing with Rory the way they should, they're letting their egos and the fact that Rory came to them instead of her mom get in the way of their judgements.

Ya know you're right. I hadn't really stopped and thought about Richard & Emily's actions this season, I hadn't liked what they did to Lorelai in the finale, but beyond that I hadn't really given it thought. I have been so focused on not liking how Lorelai's been acting with Rory I'd not really bothered to look further.
