X'mas piccys!
Okie more pic spam!!!!!!!! I did say that i'll be posting some of my X'Mas celebration pics. So basically i celebrated with my jap class peeps last sat, and with lian on the eve itself.
So really really heck lot of pics coming up so pls be prepared.
Firstly, last sat, i met up with some of my jap peeps and we headed to Minds Cafe at Boat Quay. Carys, Wee Jin and Sharene were the ones who can make it and Adeline and Tracy joined us later in the evening.
It was apparently Wee Jin's first time at Minds Cafe so he was like a little kid in a toy shop. An annoying kid that is! Kept insisting on playing games that takes a long time to finish like monopoly and risk. Hahah us 3 girls had to shoot him down so many times, altho we did give in on the monoploy game for him. Which in the end turned out to be a negotiation segment! We might as well have played 'Who's the Boss?' cos we basically stop moving to discuss terms n conditions. Hahaha! It was so hilarious. Does all the girls there have some sorta business background?
We played Monopoly, Cluedo, Twister, Taboo, Uno and Heart Attack and the animal sound calling game which was so freaking hilarious! Omg! Initally when we were doing animal sounds, it was already funny enuf. Then someone suggested that we should do sentences instead! And to make it more difficult, we had to make up sentences in different languages or dialects!
Muahaha! So funny! Some of them were in Cantonese, Hokkien, French, Japanese, Chinese and only a few in English. My god, i formed some Cantonese and Japanese sentences which were pretty simple in meaning but quite difficult to pronounce when under pressure. And the french words! It was side splitting when some ppl just shot out mumbled versions of sentences or just plain nonsense. Hahah! Love it!
Here's me and Carys at the Minds Cafe. Omg at first, Sharene, Wee Jin and i made such a stoopid mistake. The 3 of us went to the wrong place! We went into Settlers cafe and asked for our reservation. Buahaha so damn embarrassing!
This feller kept wanting to play some game that looks like some fantasy LOTR thing...which we kept saying 'NO!'. Haha he and his Druid obsession! O-TA-KU boy!

Yes we caved on one thing for Wee Jin. His monopoly, which to his dismay, became a bargai business fest for us girls. Hoho!
My FIRST time playing Cluedo and...ZOMG! It's so fun!!! I didn't know it's such a fun game! I even solved the mystery right for one time! YAY!!!!!!!
Let's twist again! Hahaha i'm telling u we were in so many painful positions. Carys face was practially in all of our butts at one time or another(apparently she rested her head on mine...hhaha!) and Wee Jin cheated by sitting down alot of times! Bleh!!! But it was fun altho some positions were impossible unless i become Rubber Man or stg. ^__^
After our games, we braved the light shower and made our way back to the hotel. Yup, Wee Jin actually booked a hotel for us! Omg! No we didn't stay overnight but we got to hung out there till the wee hours in a comfy dry clean room. It was at Merchant's Court btw. Tracy managed to join us at this point.
Tucking in the kowaii baby. And no...kowaii is not a mispelling nor does it means cute. Hehe!
Us having dinner at this Indonesian Seafood Restaurant along the river at Clarke Quay. Food was pretty good and relatively cheap. We had sambal stingray, charcoal grilled chicken, sotong, satay, toufu, kang kong and drinks for abt $18 per head. Not bad rite?

Then now comes to opening our pressies! Actually it's supposed to be a random gift exchange by drawing out numbers but Miss Carys and i cheated. Shhhhhh!
Now to present everyones gifts!
Wee Jin got some soap thingy(i forgot if this was from Teo or Adeline).
Teacy got this weird...back massager thingy from Wee Jin. Erm...it's those that u thump on ur back to massage. *sweatdrops*
Carys got this funky hat from me! I actually tot my gift was the most fun. LOL! Pls forgive my egotistical comment.
Cute back with red circle tie from Carys. Matches my outfit no?
Erm...i can't rem what those are. I think it's scented products or something. But Sharene looks happy with her gift.
Adeline got a book from Tracy. I think it's something abt finding your inner self. One of those self-help books.
Hehe! We broke out the ironing board to put our alcohol. It's now more like our cocktail bar. Oops!

Homg we were trying so many stoopid things for this pose. Wee Jin wanted to take a shot that seems as if he threw loads of cards at Sharene and she, like some kung fu master, has managed to catch them all. With her mouth, hands, clothes and even toes! LOL!

Now here comes the Fairy Tale segment. I suggested mebbe we could do a series of shots re-enacting Disney fairy tales by using the props around us. So beware of idiotic crack! pictures of pure unadulterated weirdness!
First up, SLEEPING BEAUTY! I tot Sharene made a pretty good boy with that hat so i'll be the girl. Mostly cos i can just lie there and don't move. LOL!
This is supposed to be CINDERELLA! You gotta give us some credit for prop usage here. Hahah that umbrella(eh eh under my umbrella...ella..) is supposed to be Cinderella's gown after her fairy godmother(Adeline) bippity boppity boo with her magic back thumper wand! ^_^
Hohoho we are the evil step sisters, bullying poor little Cindy! It's really fun to play the villain. And lookie Cary's chao he lang hokkien gangster pose! XD
Erm...this was supposed to be a scene from BEAUTY AND THE BEAST where Beauty was sitting and reading a book by the fountain. But our Beast turned out to be some kinda crawling Sadako from the Ring. Hahah he looks positively frightening!

This is supposed to be SNOW WHITE where the princess(played by Adeline) has just fallen dead after eating the poison apple(erm...we didn't have any fruit so a red cup had to suffice) and in the background is the CACKLING evil witch! Wahahaha! He really looked so witchy here, i was laughing my head off when we took this shot!

"Noooo get away from me!!!!" Aladdin shouted as he attempts to make his escape! But it seems the evil princess won't let him go that easily!
So it took a HIYYAAAHHHH power kick from the prince to delinquish the scary princess~!!

Next is my X'mas eve outing with lian. We did it simple...Met her after work for dinner at Pasta de Waraku, then made our way down to Vivo City for countdown.
I must must post this pic(hehe altho lian might strangle me) but she really seldom dresses up so it's a rare picture! Her usual attire consists of berms, shirt and slippers so to have her wear such a nice dress i tot she looked so nice! (Of cos this monkey kept saying she looked weird...guess she's too used to her fish-market look. Haha!)
