It's been another year since I've done this.
Basically here's the deal. Say that you have no player tees whatsoever or you want one. You suddenly get the chance to get one of your team. However there's a catch. The catch is that you must get one player tee for each team. Now, which ones would you get? Here's my picks.
Baltimore Orioles: Brian Roberts.
Boston Red Sox: [Funny thing is, I own a lot of Red Sox players shirts and I don't wear them. I can't think of one I don't have that I want. I have Jason Varitek (WS07), Josh Beckett, Mike Lowell, Jacoby Ellsbury (46), JD Drew, John Smoltz (on clearance), Jon Lester. Who else is there?]
New York Yankees: AJ Burnett. (Also Nick Swisher, Mariano Rivera, Joe Girardi (28 or 25), Andy Pettitte, Phil Hughes, Mark Teixeira, Robinson Cano, Russell Martin. I'd wear most everyone on the team, honestly.)
Tampa Bay Rays: Evan Longoria.
Toronto Blue Jays: Brandon Morrow. (Can I get vintage AJ Burnett or Roy Halladay?)
Cleveland Indians: Austin Kearns.
Chicago White Sox: AJ Pierzynski.
Detroit Tigers: Brad Penny. (Can I say Chance Ruffin yet? He's in AAA now!)
Kansas City Royals: Matt Treanor.
Minnesota Twins:
Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim: Jered Weaver.
Oakland A's: Huston Street. (Rich Harden (40) is a really close second. Barry Zito, Dallas Braden, Landon Powell, Andrew Bailey, Danny Haren.)
Seattle Mariners: Adam Moore.
Texas Rangers: CJ Wilson. (Taylor Teagarden, Michael Young, Ian Kinsler, Mitch Moreland, Josh Hamilton. I'd wear most of the team, honestly.)
Atlanta Braves: Derek Lowe. (Adam LaRoche (19), Chipper Jones, Nate McLouth, Freddie Freeman, Brian McCann, John Smoltz, Tom Glavine.)
Florida Marlins:
New York Mets: RA Dickey. (Josh Thole.)
