My mother has had the same best friend since they were 12. They're now 50. It's been along time. She's been around my whole life like another aunt. And we found out yesterday that her father is in ICU on a ventilator with a collapsed lung and is septic on top of all of his other medical problems. He isn't expected to make it past next week. So both of their fathers are dying at exactly the same time.
