There's a reason I don't keep very much. Actually, I didn't really write much (except maybe by request and stuff), so I guess I'm mostly covered! I do have some things posted at FFN, but they're old-ish without being ancient history... and you know my art's floating around.

I guess I should get back into doing stuff like that more, though. It's true, you really feel accomplished once you've done something you enjoy, and can sit back and say, "I had fun doing that." :D

Edited because I just had to say that icon is fantastic. :D

I haven't written anything for the interwebs since the heyday of the V for Vendetta fandom...like five years ago? HAS IT BEEN THAT LONG? *wibble* It's been about two years since I was putting art up regularly. Yikes.

I get stuck on making sure it's "right": is it accurate according to canon? Is it in character? Is it faithful to blah blah blah /shuts laptop without writing a single word

But to write/draw without feeling like you have to meet anyone's expectations... I honestly don't remember what that feels like. O_o

I hope you keep going with your art. Your style is awesome and we all know how I feel about your coloring, lol. :D

If I can be arsed to write something for a fandom, I've done enough research to feel comfortable that it's going to stay reasonably canon. I tend to be more concerned about the clinical aspects of writing, like syntax, structure, and style. "O-oh god, does it flow well? The sentence structures aren't too repetitive, are they?" Stuff like that. Pff.

I also have a tendency to write forever. I've been writing a Xenogears fic for my good friend myaru (which is basically an excuse for us to nerd over the early timeline) and it's sort of bloated into an eighty-plus-page monster. I totally hear ya in shutting the laptop without ever starting, though. Whoops. :D ( ... )

Sometimes I do the same thing with art--go look at places for inspiration, close laptop and think "welp, never gonna be as good as that." But in general I seem to get more nervous to post writing than art. Dunno why.

i has a style? Thanks! :D

Yeah, I do that a lot. Sometimes I get inspired to go do things, but sometimes I just lose inspiration and shrivel up before I ever start to do anything. Of course that is neither healthy nor constructive! But tell that to my ego, which is hiding and whimpering under a rock some days. ;D

You do has a style, and I loves it. ♥
