Wahh!!! Overwhelmed!
So we're working together finally on planning the wedding, little steps are more like large milestones tho. It's taken a lot just to get Travis to even take a look at what was going on. I think that going to the bridal expo really showed him that I'm not just making a plan on where the wedding is going to be and how it's going to go it's more and has more sitting there than what I can do alone. I still feel like I'm fighting him to get a little leeway such as who we're inviting on his side and the whole music for the wedding. I honestly can't get him to sit down with me and just write out what he wants. I get the point that he feels like this is more for me but in the whole idea of it's both of us it's both our wedding. I also understand that he has school and it is his last semester but we still have 9 months until the wedding and there is next to nothing completely set up other than ideas.
*sigh* Yesterday we went through music Travis had on his computer through his x-box every time we had a decent playlist set up of course the x-box lost it's connection and we lost everything he had set up. *growls* Technology pisses me off when it refuses to work the way it is supposed to. It was one step forward 10 steps back every time it reset. I spent the greater half of the day also making out my guest list as well as working on my music list and the meal list. So many different things and so many different issues. I think I'm exhausting myself just trying to do most of this on my own.
Today I'm working on the fabric style that I want for my dress which will also lead into bootineers and maybe ties for the guys which will follow into the brides maids dresses. I've decided that I absolutely want emerald green, sliver, and white for colors. It's proving to be a pain in the ass to find what I really want. I'm starting to feel like a defeatist.
I did get this really cool idea from Travis yesterday while going through our music. The idea is to get Amv's for every song we want on our playlist but amv + country music = doesn't exist. There is a lacking for videos with country music to them at least the songs we're looking for. Which is just our luck. Travis mentioned a cool idea to gather our comic book covers of the wedding issues and posting them in the main hall of the fellowship along with pictures of us because we are of course geeks and it is just like us. I think we are going to go with that for sure we just have to frame them.
