Her strength.

There are so many memories of my mama being a kick ass woman. She sticks up for everyone. Yet, she finds a way to be gentle and kind. A difficult balance for a woman: to be viewed as gentile and funny, yet tough and "no nonsense."

Those are definite qualities I want to see in myself. Actually, they're already living within me.
