Today, I am being productive, pro-active, and pretty fearless (considering my usual level of anxiety, and especially around calling people)!
Morning was quite quiet, but I went out in the afternoon to do some shopping.
On the way, a lady in a mercedes went into the back of my car at a roundabout. I stopped, and had a look - mostly damage to the numberplate I think - but I got her details and went on my way. No fear.
Got some compost at Homebase. Picked up bubblewrap in Staples to insulate some of the windows (house is cold), and did a decent-sized shop in Morrisons (which was packed, horrible, and terrifying if you hate people like I do). Then it took me half an hour to get home through town because of the congestion.
Dishes and laundry all sorted.
Called the CIPD people to discuss potential course dates for next year, and to have an application form sent.
Booked the car in at the garage next week to have the numberplate replaced.
Called the lady responsible to say what the situation was (she's being very nice about it), and I'd be in touch next week.
Maybe I can do this adult thing, after all.
