I haven't seen enough of this year's movies to qualify, but if you've seen a lot of them and have an opinion, the Onion AV Club wants to know. You know, I would never have considered the Japanese version of this movie subtle. But compared to the American one?

Suddenly I see how subtle it was.

Did this movie bomb? Tell me it bombed. 'Cause it sucks.

ETA: The 1946 French Beauty and the Beast on the other hand....Wow.

The Transformers movie was rather plotless, nonsensical at times, and incoherent in places.

Also? IT WAS TEN KINDS OF AWESOME.

Edit: Has anyone heard the buzz on the apparently still untitled JJ Abrams movie scheduled for January 08? There was an utterly awesome teaser, but IMDb has pretty much nothing.
