And the craziness continues...
I know, I know, it's been a *really* long time since I posted, and I'm going to keep this one short as well. May 3rd, we lost my grandmother on my Dad's side. June 9th we lost my grandmother on Mom's side, the one that neccesitated the trip to Texas in te first place. Both passed peacefully in their sleep, Grandmama after having been home on hospice for a couple of weeks. We are now sorting out her will/estate. My Uncle will be sworn in as executor in two weeks or so, and he wants to get the house sold as soon as possible. So he gave us three weeks to get out. Mom is really upset, and so am I, but for one extra reason than her...there is no way that I can come to Pennsic this year. I have been looking forward to Pennsic as my vacation since I left MA in November. The good news is that I will be back in MA by the time folks get back from Pennsic. I can't wait to be home again...
