Happy World Goth Day, Shopping & Stuff~
I've been busybusybusy this whole week and won't really have much of a break till Friday!! Soooo I'm just sneaking this post in between :)
First thing's first:
~HAPPY (BELATED) WORLD GOTH DAY!~Yes, I know I'm about a day late for any of my fellow Australian readers but in America and other parts of the northern hemisphere I'm right on time in wishing you all a happy World Goth Day xD & I know I'm not "goth" because I think labels are both restrictive and quite irksome but, seeing as I am quite fond of goth music and fashion, I might as well wish everyone a happy World Goth Day xD
Now, that I've wished you all a happy World Goth day I will speak of other happenings.
Recently, after re-reading some parts of the Pokemon Adventures (Special) manga and seeing the animated preview for Pokemon Black & White 2, I was inspired to begin drafting and writing some of my own Pokemon doujinshi. For those who don't know what doujinshi is, it's basically a "fan comic".
Here's a preview/concept drawing featuring one of my OCs, Azure, and her Glaceon:
Because my doujinshi is inspired by Pokemon Adventures (Special), I was trying to imitate the style of Satoshi Yamamoto who's been illustrating the chapters since volume 10 so I can carry over the feel of the original manga into my fan comic. I think I may need to revisit some elements of Yamamoto's stylisitc elements and polish up some of my inking and Pokemon drawing to suit the style better but I was actually quite pleased with the result & I'd like to know what everyone else thinks :)
Also, I've been shopping quite a bit lately so I thought I might share some of my latest catches!~
Batman tunic/dress from Poizen industries and leggings from Folter.
Moonspell t-shirt^^
(It's a men's size large so it's like a short dress/tunic on me and when I get some time I'll find a way to modify it. The side I've photographed is actually the back but, since it looks better than the other side, I'm making it into the front.)
And, since it's my final week of semester, I was finally given back my psychology assignment with a H1 and what looks to be a perfect mark^^ *happy dance*
