Overview: Because this is a starter home the walls are a little bare, which is great because you can fill them up as you go progress your Sims. The main point is that you have all the necessary furnishings to get you started, but there are still a few decorative items to give it a bit more life. I doubt an actual cottage would be this open, but having walls didn't make it feel right. I suppose you could pretend that the little cottage has had some renovations done to bring it into the present, if you so wish.

This is the main bedroom. A relaxing blue theme to calm your Sims after a hard day slogging it out at their jobs.

Second bedroom. This would also work as a study, but I decided to make it a bedroom because there is plenty of space in the living area for the future purcahses of skill related furnishings/equipment.

The bathroom is my favorite. I went for an older style because after all, the house is supposed to be a cottage. I like the green and cream colour combinations. This is my best bathroom design thus far too. Very cute. And generally once your Sims are a bit more cashed up you will want to be replacing these basic models with newer, better quality ones, again making the illusion that this cottage is going through renovations as you play along.

Anyway. I hope you like it! <3
