Trying again...
OK, so I had an entry all typed out last night and it just went kablooey because my browser decided it didn't want to be connected to the 'net. Everything else was connected, but not Firefox. WTF? When I came back from rebooting the browser, everything was gone. Grr!
I had mentioned my appt at the Neurologist to have the ENG or EMG, or whatever it is, and nerve conduction study. Lots of drawing on my arm and then some sort of taser action at the various points. That was weird, but the next bit with the needle stabbing into my arm and hand was most unpleasant. I'm still bruised in a couple of spots! I am 3 points from official CTS according to the test, but the Dr said my symptoms point to me having CTS already. Now I have to find out what the Orthopedic Doc is going to tell me on the 17th.
Our hrs are being cut at work again. It's just that slow. Everyone I've talked to in other offices has mentioned being slow. (unless of course they work at an office that takes MediCal) This is a worry for the paycheck... I am so relieved that we managed to sell that house last year. It's kept me from having an absolute meltdown about money. I'm also relieved that our cars are paid off and our mortgage is low. I know so many others who aren't in such a good position financially. I should also be thankful that reduced hrs mean reduced wear and tear on my arm and hand. Along with the time to rest, I should look into a new career if this one is going to be so detrimental to my hand. Any ideas out there? Maybe I should get some testing done at the college and go back to school.
I got a new candle from Susan yest after she showed me her new Mary Kay stuff. I've had way too many skincare purchases over the last year to start again with new product. I also ordered a new Prosperity candle in a jar. The new candle was placed on my bedside table and the furkids can't leave it alone! I think they'd eat it if they could they're so interested. There was even some nibbling on the wick as I sat there staring at them. Did I mention it's chocolate scented? LOL!
I forgot to mention that I went to a CE class on infection control on Mon. I mention to the Dr all the time that I still need credits, but since he doesn't need the, I guess he doesn't see the need to mention the available seminars to me. Luckily, V mentioned there was one Mon night after work and I went. I enjoy the speaker they get as he does get down to the interesting stuff and passes over the crap that is common knowledge. Now I just have to get my CPR card renewed and I'm set! I should put down research the AHA in this area for a class on my calender...
