All Shook Up-5.4

So, the first big earthquake to hit our area of CA hit today at about 11:45 this morning...  I think that was the time.  I didn't have a chance to look at the clock.  At first I thought it was just me being so tired I was feeling the floor move.  Then Dr said "earthquake?" and I thought, "great, it's not just me then!".  It seemed to keep rolling and rolling and rolling with sharper jolts towards the end.  I was beginning to wonder if it was going to stop or get worse.  I'm glad it stopped.  no damage or falling objects at home or at work.  K says the fur kids just looked at him like WTF?  Everyone else I asked said their fur kids did the same thing.  How funny.  I would have loved to see their faces.  They probably looked alot like the kid's faces at work.  None of them had experienced earthquakes before.  The last one I remember was at 2AM in '99.

I went to the eye doc on base today so he could really look and see if something was in my eye.  YES!  He found an eye lash stuck under the eye lid at the outside corner.  He had to flip my eye lid up and use a tweezers with really pointy tips to get it out.  At least my eye only feels scratchy now as opposed to having stabbing pains and itching and scratchiness.

Tomorrow will probably just have me the only asst at work again.  Coworker called in sick with vertigo.  They did a test on her ear nerves yest and it came back abnormal on her left ear.  It could be some disease or a tumor or they just don't know.  She gets to talk to them about the tests and such on Fri.  Now what do I do about my concert tix on Thurs.  I was going to go to the OC Fair before the concert and look around since I've never been.  Now I'm having guilt about the fact that no one would be there to assist even tho I put in for that day off 3 mos ago.  Shit.  Now what?

My neck is out again.  Maybe it's stressing from trying to do 2 asst jobs at once.  My arm feels better for the moment, as does my hand.  Surprising since I had two DB's and a BB today.  I did what I said I would and cut the kid's nails.

I'm so tired.  Only so much energy is going around to keep me going in a week, and I might have already used up a huge chunk of it.

tired, earthquake, eyelash
