My allergies are KILLING ME! What's up with that? I take TWO meds for my allergies, year round and still I get whapped over the head with them at times. My nose is running fit to leap off my face! Meh!
We finally got a pile of mail from the PO that has been wondering around who-knows-where since we were on the cruise. Yeah, it's only a month late! And yes, my RDA license was in the bundle. I knew it was supposed to come while we were gone. It's a damn shame when postmarks a month apart are in the same stack of mail.
I'm still dragging from trying to do too much over the last few days. I don't feel bad at the time, but then I get hit with the "tireds" and have to lie down again. I kinda feel like a slug, but many of the ladies on my hysterectomy board with the same surgery date as me are complaining of the same thing, so I don't feel guilty. I hope I have a greater ability to be up and around for next weekend. Tomorrow will be the halfway mark in my 6 week recovery. I'm scared that I am not going to be up for working by then. It's not like the office is extremely busy, but it's also not like I'm up for running around like a headless chicken. When we get busy, I tend to rush around and happen to bounce off the doorways in the back (so does my coworker, so it's not like I'm the only one). That's gonna hurt. Gonna have to hobble for awhile.
I had a poke around my tummy today. Just about belly button level. It's nice to not have an alien transgressor in there pushing back. I can even wear my fave sleep pants again! Before, Fred would push against the waist band and make me feel sick.
Speaking of Fred. I about died watching a cooking show about favorite foods. This one guy had a fave food of some game hen cooked in a pig's bladder. It looked like someone had served Fred up in a big sauce pan!!!!! EW!
Meet Fred. I still can't believe that grew inside me. Most women grow babies, and I grew an alien. Oh well. It's been a learning experience. Oh yes, the pig's bladder thing....
I will NEVER eat that no matter how good it tastes. It would freak me out!
