Today was interesting
So tonight I was talking to my friend Penny, and decided we should hang out. So after deciding the Electric Cowboy was a no and there wasn't a whole lot to do if you're under 21 we decided to try going to Numan's. It's some sports grill/cafe/karaoke bar/pool hall/poker place down town. Their website said something about how the owner wanted a fun place for 18 year olds. The front of the place said NOTHING about it being a 21+ place. BUT.... when we went to the bar to get tokens for the pool tables the bartender asked if we were 21, we told the truth and said all we wanted was to play some pool and he let us have half the tokens we asked for (so enough for 2 games) and we played.
But what was fantastic was some guy decided to give Penny advice after he saw how much we sucked. Then after he asked if I was married (I wore my fake engagement ring/wedding band, but told him the truth) he started on me. Kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinda creepy. But he didn't actually do anything inappropriate. Another guy asked me why we were there alone. To which I said "our boyfriends wouldn't join us. Hers lives a ways away and mine is home not feeling well." Then he left me alone. After our second game we left, and the guy who was "helping" us was sad.
Laughing the whole way from Numan's we went to Starbucks. Then we just sat outside the apartment building on some grass near the trash and our cars. We talked for a good couple hours about everything and nothing. I <3 her, she's a doof.
I had a nice girls night out. :)
