Ah, the cliche...
I'm three days away from handing in my honours thesis so suffice it to say, I'm a little stressed. I wake up this morning to find that one of my dogs (and she shall remain nameless for her own protection) had chewed two separate containers of toothpicks, a permanent marker... and The Pink Triangle, a library book that I had been using re my thesis. Now the book is totally destroyed - shredded paper in a cover held together only by it's contact paper and I have to fork out who knows how many dollars to replace it. The long and short of it is, however - if you stretch the definition a little - that my dog has eaten my homework.
