I'd like to thank everyone for their support since my Mom first went missing, and the sympathy since her loss. I will admit, so far this week sucks swamp water. I should probably post an explanation of the two new icons I've used the last few days. You can find them in my icons listing.
'I miss you' is pretty self-explanatory, especially since it's the same picture used in 'Gloom'.
'You Should Be Sitting Here' is a picture of the bench where Mom sat a lot, sunning her toes. I took the picture years ago, when we first were settling in, but now I can't look at it without thinking of Mom sitting there, or using the bench as a place to put trays of starting seed pots. In the last few months, a new addition was made. I can see the massive white stuffed bunny, an Easter present from Dad to Mom, sitting on the chair beside her. It followed her around, held in one hand or the crook of an elbow, much as a favorite toy is taken around by a small child.
She didn't take the bunny with her when she went. We still have that.
