I took the plunge...
I just registered for Otakon this year. Meep. Ack! Anyone else going? Anyone have an idea for a costume for me to wear? I want to buy fuzzy fox ears. I'd tried to make them before, and failed miserably. Well, maybe not failed. Everyone asked me if I was a dog, though. Hey... I still have that dog collar that fits me. I can go as a dog, fluffy tail, fluffy ears, and dog collar. Should be cute. Hopefully. Maybe I'll just go in normal clothes, but I want to freak out the other people riding the lightrail. I really really do.
Why have I never gone to Otakon before? I've lived in the area since... err, long before they started holding Otakon. Gee, they started in 1994... I would have been, ah, in between freshman year and sophmore year of high school. Oh yeah. That's why I didn't go. This is the first year I haven't been ten kinds of broke half the time.
