The bug going around
Gah. There's got to be some sort of rule about bugs going around. As in, LC has to be the first one to get sick, and the last one. Come on body, why aren't the antibodies kicking in!
I'm coughing, and hacking, and wheezing, and I sound like a dead frog when I talk. *Not* a happy camper here people. Wasn't even able to do anything on the computer the last couple days. Ah, week. I'll freely admit, I'm forgetting what my own voice sounds like. Little achy, but not so much. Guess that means it's not the flu, and just a really nasty chest cold that's hanging on and playing attack dog.
Been on the web, though, the last few hours. Handy dandy resource if you've got the flu? The CDC's web page. Yep. Makes my eyes bug out, reading some of this stuff. Ick.
Please, do me a favor? If you're sick, coughing and all, *don't* go to work. Is it really fair to infect all your co-workers? All those poor people at the local deli? And for heaven's sake, *please* don't get the cashiers sick. We don't get paid enough to take time off, and working when you feel crappy is *no* fun.
