Yes, I'm still alive even after all this time.  I pretty much spent all summer either job hunting or on a couple of trips with the family.  Late in July to early August, I went to Ohio to see my younger sis and eventually spent a few hours in Toronto, Canada.  I even spent my birthday there.  I hope to go back there again one day. ^__ ( Read more... )

Just found out that my grandfather passed away in his sleep this morning. It was sort of inevitable because the last time I saw him, he was very thin and frail. At least he can rest with ease.

UPDATE:
One of my cousins went to Puerto Rico for the funeral. She says that he and dad are buried together now.

We picked up my older sis and nephew from the airport last night, as in between 1-2 in the morning. D: My sister and Boo were in Puerto Rico for a week, so that was Boo's very first airplane flight. It's been 2 years since my dad's passing. Two years isn't that long, but it seems so to me. I'm sure wherever dad is at, he's very happy that my nephew knows his name. When my eldest sis and I were leaving Miami, my nephew Boo wanted to go to Abuelito Fonsi's house, my dad's house.

My mother and eldest sister were in New York yesterday to see Daniel Radcliffe in "Equus" but the tickets they bought online was for the performance on FRIDAY. So imagine the moment they went the box office, they're told that bad news, but after some begging, some calls were made, and some checking, they managed to get seats in the theatre anyway ( Read more... )
