Happy 2010!!!
Suck It 2009!!
Today was an amazing day!! I woke up without an alarm! I cleaned my house just a little bit and started some laundry before heading off for my first workout session of the year! I felt very glad to be starting off the year with a workout. After my workout I ran to Target and grabbed some things for my house to get me more organized. I spent my time and didn't feel rushed to get out (like I usually do!) Of course walking around with my cup of iced coffee made it nicer too! Then I headed to Jo-Ann Fabrics to get the last little thing that I needed for my craft project. Picked up a class schedule for Jan/Feb and was happy to see some great classes that I will be signing up for! Grabbed some lunch (stupid Chipotle for not being open!!) Went to the bank, Washed the car, then headed back home. When I got home I went nuts! I cleaned and organized, threw stuff out, finished the laundry, put clean washed sheets on my bed, scrubbed the bathroom, cleaned my dirty looking skate jewelry (finely), made a new cd mix for my mum and her new itunes adventures (Go Mum!!) ...........
I didn't have enough time to get done everything that I wanted to. My craft area is going to get a make over. But I also figure that is going to be a pretty big process so maybe its good I save it for another day.
Tuesday I am going to go to the Fashion Design School here in Tucson and talk to someone. I still think it may be cheaper to go to the school in California (but that doesn't make sense.) I am going to talk to them. I REALLY want to be a tailor. I want to be able to make clothes for people. I don't want to design the clothes!!! I just want to make them!! I want to make costumes for theater!! I want to know what else is available out there to me!
I am just excited about today. I didn't go out last night so that way I wouldnt be tired or hung over today and I think I made the right choice. I had an amazing day and I am hoping this will set the tone for the rest of the year. This is going to be a great year. Im gonna make some shit happen!!
I started a new job just at the end of last year that way everything is finely in place right now. If I had waited to start that new job now it would have put me in that tight spot to start the year. This way that is all behind me and I am ready to rock it now.
This year is going to be a great roller derby year for me. I am not president any longer. I no longer have that burden and I can spend more time enjoying skating!! I am going to spend this year going to places and skating with new people to help me build my skill. I am going to push myself more this year than ever before. I am moving my work outs up to three times a week. Im excited!
Ok off to watch a movie before laying my head to rest! It was a great day!! 2010 Im ready for you!
