So, a week ago, a friend roped me into watching Shin Tenipuri, her way of introduction being: "Hey, check this out- the animators managed to make Ryoma look less jail-baity! He's almost 13 but you can now add high schoolers to the list of people who want to bone him

I started watching this for the memories and it's utter hilarity factor and got sucked in for my favourite tennis obsessed boys. (What did they do that with Tezuka?! T_T) I should really finish the series.
Ahh Echizen the eternal brat. I can see the Tokugawa chemistry.
I missed your writing.
I was considering putting all my WIPs up just because otherwise they will languish on my drives forever and ever. So yeah I am totally encouraging you to do that because I want to see them. Finished or not. :D

Maybe Konomi has read way too much fanfiction of Tezuka sacrificing himself for Ryoma/ Seigaku and that's his way of trolling the fangirls. I don't know. It sucks that Tezuka left, but I'm not going to call him a wanker for it. I mean, he deserves to focus on himself too. Still, I can't help feeling that whole leaving thing undermined the entire premise of the original series. But that's just me. I refuse to think too much on this.

Well, someone's gotta replace Tezuka. Also, have you seen this? Mindblown.
I missed your writing.
... Well. Uh. I'm actually writing another one. One of my oldest fandom friends requested it, and I couldn't turn her down. Ohmygod, what have I gotten myself into. I need to write something else before I get completely sucked in.

Trolling is one thing. If he was likely to bring Tezuka back. Couldn't Mizuki have secretly have been a girl all along or or something less breaking? I completely agree that Tezuka should be able to focus on himself, but that could involve him playing tennis just for himself and acing all of the U17s before they send him off to Germany (seriously why so far?). I can't resist thinking about it because of that darn nostalgia hook.
...I had not seen that. It is ridiculous the similarities. Same production values somwhere along the line?

*whistles tunelessly* Anything that has you writing. There will be no discouragement of any kind from this corner.

Be encouraged.

I had to wander off to my fandom LJ for it. It has been a while.

I am such a sucker for nostalgia.
Oh, me too. My fandom habits are random at best- I don't stay very long on anything, but I do have a tendency to pop back in every once in a while. And PoT, no matter how retarded it can get, will always have a special place in my heart because it's where I met all you wonderful people, so I can never leave it truly. ♥
If ever, I would hope that that would be Fuji- only it won't actually break me so much as make me feel vindicated. I kinda wanted to throw a brick at Yamato because of the whole "The pillar you stand for is only an illusion" thing. Seriously, way to undermine the whole point of the original series. Actually, I would've been okay w/ Tezuka not finishing the U-17 camp if ONLY he took the time to properly say goodbye to the members who weren't there, ESPECIALLY RYOMA. Even just a letter or something. Instead, he just upped and left. Also, way to break both my OTPs w/ the heaping amounts of AtoTezu. Though I did like the part where Ryoma went to watch Tezuka in secret ( ... )
