Arashi Kokuritsu MC Translation - 2010/08/22
At THIS AWESOME BLOG HERE , there is a transcript of the MC from the 22nd August live.
I've started to translate it! It's a bit sketchy in places, but thought I'd share it anyway. I'll probably be re-drafting a bit before I post it on any comms, but I'll post it here for now.
EDIT: Finished full translation now!

Ah, it's probably worth mentioning that they discuss NatsuNiji a bit during the MC, so anyone who's particularly spoilerphobic and hasn't seen up to episode 6 might want to skip that bit.
Sho: It's still just as hot as it was this lunchtime!
Nino: There’s even people with cooling strips on their forehead. (Usually worn to cool your forehead when you have a fever)
Sho: Good that everyone's taking care of themselves.
Nino: Because it’s tough for everyone today!
Sho: Aiba, during “Happiness”… (Sho’s wearing a hooded towel. The hood is on, and the rest is draped down his back)
Nino: Erm, that looks bad on you (laugh)! Like… Something’s wrong! The towel’s all…
[Aiba pulls the towel up onto his shoulders for him]
Nino: See, it’s supposed to be like that, right?!
Sho: That’s not it! It's because of my sloping shoulders, the sides slipped down! It’s my sloping shoulders; there’s nothing I can do about it.
Nino: Ah, sorry about that! (laugh)
Returning to the talk
Aiba: What was that?!
Sho: This guy got so hyped up, right… He was doing this [jumps like Aiba does in the 5x10 lyric booklet] ....he was doing that, right! And he was really going for it so it makes me feel like I have to join in! I was fully dragged into it!
Aiba: I was excited!
Nino: It's not like you were messing up your steps or something right?
Aiba: No way!
Nino: But yesterday you were messing up, weren’t you. You were singing other people’s parts, being laughed at by the fans, right? And it was a middle school aged girl, wasn't it? She was pointing and lauching and you were like… [ Nino narrows his eyes with a serious expression and says "shh!!"], right?
Aiba: Hey!!
Nino: Nobody's gonna tell anyone! (about the bits he messed up on).
Aiba: You don’t know that! Someone might say!
Sho: Acting like an adult...
Aiba: Yeah! Well she was a middle school kid, so...
Jun: Aiba-san, (today) you messed up during "Kagero", didn’t you?
Aiba: Eh!?
Jun: You were supposed to be between Sho and I, but you went here [points somewhere off to the right] then gradually edged your way back over here! (laugh)
4 members: (Loud laugh)
Ohno: And, right-!
Nino: Eh? You’re here? Sorry… You’re so dark I couldn’t see you there.
3 members: (Laugh)
Ohno: During “Let me Down”, I’m meant to put my hand on Aiba-chan’s shoulder and line up with the Juniors, right? But just this one person was crouching down!
Aiba: No! I thought I'd look cool if I crouched then leapt up suddenly… But it was just me doing it on my own, so I got embarrassed and stood up.
Sho: But today, Aiba-san said something good, you know. Backstage. “Right! That’s right! For the second day, energy’s running low! I’ll just practise once more!” He said. So this was the second time doing it.
Nino: Cos he practised it once back stage, right? (Laugh)
Sho: Yeah! He got hyped up once already!
Nino: So it went well the fist time?
Aiba: It did!
Nino: Then, the second time was a failure? (Laugh)
Jun: Don’t go messing up on things you’ve done before!
Aiba: You don’t have to scold me so seriously!
3 members: (Loud laugh)
Sho: It’s a change of subject, but…
Nino: Go on.
Sho: Leader, are there any kouhai that you play around with, like, ones you’re close with?
Nino: Well, I can’t really see him “playing” at all...
Ohno: I do! News’ … Shige.
Nino: Shige!
Ohno: Kato-chan.
4 members: Kato-chan!? (Laugh)
Sho: How did it come about that you decided to hang out? Did you invite him? Or was it a mutual thing?
Ohno: Well we had a mutual friend who fishes… And Shige said he wanted to come too.
Sho: Do you discuss sun protection and stuff? Like “This suncream’s good”, “This face lotion’s good you know,” and things like that?
Jun: But he (Shige) is white, isn’t he. Which means it’s just your consciousness (of the sun) that’s at fault, isn’t it!?
Nino: No, that's not it! He's just plain weird! He compares his arms with other people’s and says “ah not yet...”!
4 members: (Loud laugh)
Sho: Ohno-san from your point of view who's looking best?
Ohno: Aiba-chan! He’s got the most sense for it!
4 members: (Loud laugh)
Aiba: Me!?
Sho: Darkness-sense?
Nino: Dark-skin-sense! (Laugh)
All members: (Loud laugh)
The laughter comes to an end
Sho: What shall we talk about now?
Aiba: Let’s talk about whatever everyone likes~!
Nino: It seems Sho-san’s solo is being played in lots of different places, right?
Sho: Hey you! (Bashful)
3 members: What’s this about?
Sho: Well, I got mail from my friend, right. They said T.A.B.O.O was being played in an airport restaurant...
Nino: It’s not really a restaurant kind of song, is it?
Sho: That’s what I said! Dan dan daan♪~ (intro of T.A.B.O.O)
Nino: Erm, I’ll have the hamburger please.
Sho: Sore ga Taboo~ ♪ (That’s Taboo~♪)
Nino: I can’t order anything, right! (Laugh) Well…. Then I’ll go for curry-
Sho: Sore mo Taboo~♪ (That’s Taboo too~♪)
4 Members: (Loud laugh)
Sho: Matsumoto-kun, you’re filming your drama now aren’t you?
Nino: Isn’t it over already?
Jun: No we’re still filming!
Sho: You’re filming loads aren’t you!
Jun: Yeah, filming loads. (To Nino) You came the other day, didn’t you? To film in the studio next door?
Nino: Oh yeah! I was filming on location.
Sho: For “Friitaa Ie wo Kau”? (Nino’s new drama)
Nino: Yeah, yeah. I was filming next door, so I came by to say hi, and-
Sho: To go see MatsuJun?
Nino: Of course!
Jun: You liar! You totally didn’t come to see me!
Nino: That’s not true!
Jun: I was filming, right, and this guy's standing there in a suit. It was an interview-type suit, so it really looked like he was someone who’d come job-hunting! (Laugh) Then, when I said “Takeuchi-san’s over there, you know”, He's like, “It’s alright, I’ve already been (to see her)!”
(TN: Takeuchi plays MatsuJun’s love interest in the drama, and Nino is a huge fan of hers. See the NatsuNiji episode of VS. Arashi for Nino hopelessly fanboying over her.)
3 members: (Laugh)
Sho: It’s been announced, hasn’t it?
Jun: What has?
Sho: …The kiss.
Jun: (Laugh)
Sho: Is it episode 6?
Jun: You’re really paying attention (to the drama), aren’t you? (Laugh)
Sho: I really am! Are you watching too?
Aiba: I’m watching it!
Jun: What’s your favourite scene so far?
Aiba: Is it okay to say?
Jun: Go for it.
Aiba: That… one, you know… The sky-diving bit.
Jun: That’s… In episode one, right?
Sho: That means you’re still on episode one?
Aiba: Yeah! I am! I’ll watch from now on.
Sho: Because the kiss is coming up.
Nino: We don’t know that yet!
Sho: (Laugh) I guess. Because he (Jun) was pushed away in episode one, right?
Nino: Right! So we don’t know yet! They might not ever kiss!
Sho: You’re quite the optimist, aren’t you! (Laugh)
Nino: Well, I guess it's time to move on. We’ve got to do the second half. It’s time…
Sho: Okay, Aiba-san!
Nino: Do the honours!
Aiba: Shall I? LET’S GO~!! OIII!!
The crowd keep getting hyped up…
Aiba: MORE!
???: Shut up!
4 members: Eh?
Kaibutsu Tarou’s entrance!

Kaibustu-kun (Ohno) sings “Yukai Tsukai Kaibutsu-kun”
…..
Kaibutsu-kun: Humans really are good aren’t they. I’ve snuck back to the human realm without my attendants realising.
Members start returning one by one from costume change.
Nino: Huh!?
Sho: (Happily) Yaa~ con-Huh!?
Aiba: Huh?!
Nino: Daibutsu-kun!
Kaibutsu-kun: It’s Kaibutsu-kun!
Sho: Ah… Daibutsu -kun!
Kaibutsu-kun: It’s KAIBUTSU-KUN!
Jun: Huh? Isn’t it Daibutsu-kun?!
Kaibutsu-kun: I’m telling you, it’s KAIBUTSU-KUN!
Aiba: Eh? But it’s like “Daaai dai dai ♪” (from the "Yukai Tsukai" song)
Kaibutsu-kun: It’s “kaaai kai kai”!
[The exchange continues like that.]
Nino: Erm, excuse me. Could you not go and bring our Leader out? He was backstage earlier, but he’s not coming back out on stage.
Kaibutsu-kun: Why do I have to do something like that!?
Sho: Please.
Nino: He’s probably throwing a tantrum backstage…
Kaibutsu-kun: Fine, I get it! I’ll go get him!
4 members: Thank you!

Intro "DON!"
Aiba: Shall we do it then!?
Sho: This is something Aiba's suggested. He was like "Let's do an intro quiz like we did when TOKIO-niisan came to Arashi ni Shiyagare!"
[Anyone who hasn't seen that episode of Shiyagare, they basically just play a teeny clip of the intro of a song, and the members have to guess which song it is.]
(Aiba starts preparing)
Nino: It was just you, wasn't it? Just you who didn't answer any yesterday.
Jun: He answered, didn't he?
Aiba: No, I did answer! But I was wrong!
(On the first day it seems like they played using Shounentai and TOKIO songs. But this time it's Arashi-only songs.)
Aiba: INTRO, DON!!
First song
Jun gets to answer (it seems like there's a flag they have to grab).
Aiba: That's an Arashi song!?
Jun: "Spiral"

Nino gets the flag.
Nino looks worried.
Jun: You took the flag, you've got to answer! (Laugh)
Aiba: It's alright isn't it!? This one!
Nino: It's a song from Toshi Medoree's but... Toshi Medoree's first song!
(Since that's not the title: incorrect)
Nino: What's is it!?
Jun: "The Bubble"

[TN: According to this blog, a medley of "The Bubble" and "Rainbow" was performed only once on the first night of of the "Iza Now!" concert at Osaka. Then in Fukuoka, they discussed it during the MC, and said that "The Bubble", "Rainbow," and "Tokyo Lovers..." together was known as "Toshi Medoree" (Town Medley), which is what Nino must be referencing there.]
Third song
(Sho's fans start making noise)
Sho answers and gets it wrong.
Jun also gets it wrong.
Nino: I've got it...! "Yume de ii kara!"
Sho: ....!??
Aiba: Haven't I danced to this?
Sho: Why would you?! Why would you have danced to my solo song?
(Everyone laughs)
