According to tradition, if the groundhog doesn't see its shadow when it emerges from its burrow on Groundhog Day, an early spring is in store. It was three against one today with Nova Scotia's Shubenacadie Sam, Staten Island Chuck and Punxsutawny Phil all in agreement: expect an early spring this year. Was it just me or did this year’s Doctor Who Christmas special, Last Christmas, seem like a mash up of Alien, The Thing and Inception?
