YAY!! Reign has officially been renewed for a second season. I am so happy I’m doing cartwheels. CW renewed five shows today. OK I know I should make some comment about the Oscar noms but really they were pretty much as expected IMO. Lots of tight races this year but my suspicion is Oscars will show more love to 12 Years a Slave than the Golden Globes did. So Kyle Schmid is now on Lost Girl. Yay...he is a much needed addition to help raise the integrity of that show. At least I hope so. Plus that keeps him in T.O. to film both Copper and Lost Girl. How is it that I have never run into this man on the street?

The People’s Choice Awards were last night and it appears that all the awards that I really cared about were presented off camera. I wish they would show the whole ceremony but apparently not.

First snowfall of the season, sort of. It mostly bypassed downtown Toronto but uptown (aka where I work) there is snow on the ground and the trees are covered in the first frost. It is a winter wonderland in the Don Valley. So very breathtakingly beautiful....

Finale of Face Off was last night. (spoilers ahead) I'm happy to say that Laura won. However, I'm also upset that Tate lost. Those two were both amazing and definitely deserved to be in the finals. Arrow: Let’s break this one right down to the core. I liked this show last season. LIKED is the word. It had much to like - decent plot, semi-compelling characters.
