It Grows As It Goes

Still home, I am frustrated because the post office can’t find my package. I gave her the tracking number, and she told me she’s afraid they put it in someone else’s box. She admitted she really has no clue what happened to it, and they can’t find it. I don’t think I can get my money because the Fed-Ex website shows it delivered to a post office ( Read more... )

I visited New Mexico once and I also found magic there.

This will be our third time going to visit. Each time, I hope I can convince my husband to move there permanently.

He really does, but he loves where he was born and where we are now (Arkansas) quite a bit. He'd be willing to go, but you know finding jobs, etc. takes time. I am originally from St. Louis, Missouri, and I can definitely do without Arkansas...or at least the part of the state we live in! The other side of the state is so pretty, but we live in the ugliest part, in my opinion.

Jobs are difficult to find all over, but some work is easier to find than others. Do you both do things that there is a good demand for in NM? Aesthetics are important to me too. I've never been to Arkansas but I'd like to go someday just so I can have visited all 50 states (I'm at like 25 rn).

Well, I work with Conference Services at a university so I figure that could easily transition into hotel industry or convention center. I'm also a sassy secretary so I could go that route, too. He is an Area Coordinator in Residence Life at a college which is basically like a landlord. He would prefer to stay at a university, but his degree is a Master's in History so he has that to work with! Lol If you go to Arkansas go around Fayetteville and that corner of the state. It's so gorgeous over there, and that's where we go on mini vacation. Where I'm from in Jonesboro, is an hour from Memphis but it's the flatlands and definitely not pretty/not much to do.

It sounds like you both have a lot of options! Thanks, I'll do that (eventually- like, someday). :)
