Books Are Entertainment Too, Kids
I love books, possibly more than I love food, but that's a topic for a different entry.
Anyway, I know in today's world there is often the temptation to attach ourselves to the internet as our sole form of entertaining ourselves, leaving books on shelves to collect dust until some loving bibliophile comes to sweep off the dust, take it off the shelf and read it. It seems that somehow books can get forgotten as a means of passing time, so in the name of progress, I would encourage you to sit down and read a book.
Really and seriously, kids, read a book.
I don't care what book you read, just as long as it interests you. It can even be something that you have read before and want to re-read. And if you don't have a book at home you want to read, go to a library. That's the place where there are thousands upon thousands of books stored up in one place for you to check out and read. Heck, it's free, so why not take advantage?
