So, got my semester grades!!! I totally dominated academia with three A-'s and two A's. Yaaay. Go me. Happily, Tim and I made a little wager on our semester grades, so he will be taking me to dinner in Providence, seeing the waterfires with me, AND accompanying me shopping at the mall there. Yessssssssssssss. I am thrilled. He did really well too though, Dean's List, so maybe, just maybe, he'll win a little something too.
Today I finallly saw Stacey! She stopped by for an hour while I was working. I accomplished little. It was pretty sweet and it was so nice to see her. (Thanks Stax!) Mike also came by to say hello, wearing his two-day old shirt that he'd already washed and decided to wear again. Stacey was also debuting some new clothes. Haha, I love my friends.
I stayed an extra few hours at work too, AND agreed to try the overnight shift at work on the 30th! Wooopee. 9pm to 7 AM. Oh my. Needing money makes you do crazy things, huh? Lots of caffeine is is in order. God, I need an espresso machine badly.
I broke down and bought Vogue with Anglina Jolie on the cover. I am so sick of Jennifer Aniston. I would be insanely jealous if I were her, not just of her ruined marriage, but because Angelina is so hot! My god. At least be flattered you lost your husband to someone like her! I mean, poor Sienna Miller. Losing Jude Law to that hideous nanny?!!!! I would have died. Cheer up Jennifer. You'll always have Friends.
I went nuts at the Bath and Body Works sale yesterday at the mall. Seriously psychotic. Do I really need four lip glosses? $12 True Blue Spa manicure scrub, Tahiti Sweetie body lotion, and Coco Cabana body wash? Yes.
And tmrw I'm going to NYC... so my poor, unspoiled, little sister can get her 467,345th american girl doll and we enjoy lunch at the American Girl Doll Cafe!! It should be fun actually. I really just want to get to Zara, aka Mecca, and unload all my Christmas money on a new wardrobe for 2007. I miss Italy so much.
And Stonehill.
Intellectual thought of the day: I'm reading "The Way to Win in 2008".
How do you guys feel about Hillary Clinton for president? Are we ready?
