it's a typical love story...
in my life anyway.
wow, it's amazing that after monthes of inactivity, my livejournal is still exsistant. you'd think they'd clean out the database or something, eh? good thing though because for once i NEED to blog and everywhere else, the one person that shouldn't read it CAN. =/
where to begin... oh that's right. I EFFING TOLD YOU ALL SO! woah, all caps. that's enough to throw someone off. now don't freak out, i'm really not infuriated. just a little frustrated at myself for letting myself get carried away into the apparently obvious romantic tensions as pointed out by the spectators of my life, therefore almost forcing myself to become vulnerable in the game of "love" yet again.
they always say to never go against your gut feeling. well, i KNEW this was going to happen. halfway hoped.. no prayed that it would turn up different, but alas. the big man upstairs has different plans i s'ppose.
seems like it's just another stupid factor contributing to that ongoing and vicious cycle that is my love life. you know the saying "always a bridesmaid, never a bride"? well, in the dating world this could be interpreted as "never the lover, always the friend."
the upside to the entire ordeal? at least i cleared things up before things started to get entirely too deep for my own good. this could have been far more painful had i decided to wait it all out. honestly, since when did dating and all have to be so freakin complicated?
how much easier would it have been if there were a much simpler way to go about doing this... like not only do we get popped out into the world with our handy "how to live life: for dummies" written and published by GOD, but also a little black book with a single slip of paper revealing ot us the name of whom we are to be with. that way the fun of finding them is still there but more like a "where's waldo" feel to it in the world. =D
