Long time no update.
Let's see. Every day is basically the same as the day before. Except for tuesdays. Those are my days off. So every day I got to work...come home...eat some food...go back to work...come home...eat some food...go to sleep. Pretty much every day.
But the good news is that I've been getting some good closing shifts so I should be making more money. And apparenty I'm a pretty good waitress...at least that's what some of my tables say to me. Now if only they would not just tell me but also tip me more.
Here's a rant. I HATE 10% TIPS! Especially in the mornings. At Carino's we have this stupid "power lunch" deal. Normally a lunch entree cost like seven or eight dollars plus 1.29 for unlimited soup and salad. But if you pick an entree on the power lunch you get unlimited soup and salad plus your entree for seven dollars. Granted its only a few extra bucks but if you tip accordingly then thats a few extra dollars for me as well. And those dollars add up. And what also sucks is that it doesn't matter if it's lunch or dinner I (as well as the rest of the servers) work hard. And with lunch we make way less money. It sucks.
Onto some happy news. Brandi is pregnant again and she's due in February. We also found out the cutest way. It was mom's 50th birthday party and of course I had to work that evening. I went to Palestine in the morning with John, left him there, and came back to Tyler in the evening to work. It was like ten before I got back to Palestine. Well, when I got there mom told me that I had to see what Brandi got her for her birthday. We (like almost fifteen of us) all stood in the carport and mom handed me the gift bag. Of course I had to wait for Ted to get his camera. I opened the bag and pulled out a yellow onesie! I was shocked. And! We got a picture of my surprise face.
Other good news...two days ago I got a kitty! I haven't really named her yet. So far she's crazy hyper and super sweet. She licks my face and nose constantly. She also hasn't really learned how to retract her claws so she's a bit prickly most of the time. But the good news is that when I got her she wasn't litter box trained. I was worried that she was going to poop all over the house which she did once. But I took the poo and put it in the litter box and put her in the box as well. She covered it up and now she's using it. She a smart one! (of course I also heard that it's natural instinct for a cat to use the box)
We also got cable!! It's so weird to sit in the house and watch tv! But I love it!
I guess that's all for now. I do have to do laundry today, clean out the rabbit cage, and then got to work at 5:15. Boo.
