one year
So. It's been a long time since I last posted. I doubt anyone even reads this at all but oh well. I like writing in it so what the hell...
It's almost John and I's one year anniversary! I was looking back in my written journal to see what other one year marks we had hit and I realized that my written journal has a lot of holes in it. Thankfully this one has more in it. So I found out just a few minutes ago that today is the one year anniversary of John and I's first kiss! woot!!
Things with John and I are good. I've never been with one guy this long (let alone lived with a boyfriend) So things are tense at time. But in the end I love him all the same. (I figure that's what's important) It reminds me of a quote from the Sex and the City movie
"I'm not happy all day every day but I'm happy every day."
That's exactly how I feel.
Let's see...what's new. I am now a server at Carino's (as of last week) and John just started a job selling Kirby vacuums. Granted I don't necessarily agree with his job choice but he's happy about it and we've made it on the money I've made so I'm sure we'll be fine. And who knows...maybe he will actually make money at it.
Nothing else is really all that different. I work and watch movies.
I miss dancing so much. Being at the renaissance faire made me realize just how much I missed it. Hopefully if John really does make money at this I can stop working on Mondays and then I can go to class and dance and be social.
Oh! I quit smoking. But last night I split two cigarettes with John and they were gross and they made me cough! I guess that means that I'm officially a non-smoker. Who would have thought.
I guess that's all.
