Meeting with The Lord

ron: i didnt mention to john that tonight i'm meeting with Christian Lord, the Buddhist guy, to discuss attending the Buddhist ceremony tomorrow. I’m more interested in learning their philosophy, though.

ron: sitting in a room trying to cross my legs and chanting w/o really having a solid grasp of what the fuck they think is not really the best approach for me

ron: nice. well, the truth is, I’m not in the mood to go. my first question to him, or one of the first, will be to assess his level of happiness and try to see if that level of happiness is justified by his life circumstances ;p
ron: my hope is that he and his entire family are stricken w/ cancer and yet he cant stop smiling
ron: it would be a good sign
