Kris went to check out the Avalon Watch apartments the other day, which had seemed really nice online.  We were both kinda banking on those to be the ones we would eventually get, but alas.  They are not so hot, as she tells me

it was pretty nice. overall, the place was pretty big and i loved the downstairs area. the decks are pretty shot, but apparently in the process of replacing them. the only problem was the second bedroom. my sister went to look at it yesterday and was saying that it was too small. i thought to myself, "how bad could it really be??"

it was pretty tiny.

the show apartment featured it as an office.

so i don't know. we checked out the heights at lebanon but they were closed so we only got to drive around the area and have a look at the outside. i like the part of lebanon surrounding it, it would be bEAUTIFUL for running, but i don't know if i really like the complex. all of the apartments/townhouses are smushed together- super narrow, but extending far back, and parking leaves a lot to be desired. i don't know how anyone could have guests there. the front lawn is essentially parking for you and your neighbor, and there is no street parking cause there is no room. and i didn't see any extra lots anywhere.

kris tells me to stay positive though, the inside is supposedly gorgeous and we haven't even gotten to talk to anyone yet. early next week we will, i think.

i'm just leaning towards renting a house at this point lol
