so i went to linden this weekend. as usual. but THIS time, you see, we had applefest, the grandest thing ever...it's run by the church, but there isn't a cross or a bible in site, and the only thing religious about it is all the money goes to charity.
my mum baked pumkin bread, and glynis and morgan and i painted little kids faces with acrilic paint - NOT my idea, i assure you...i got some on my foot, and it still hasn't come off...i'm really worried about those kids who got those whole-face-spiderman or butterfly thingies...
so then we went back to linden and moggie and gigi and i stayed up and burned things...and then we got up the next morning and kept burning things...basically we now have three pumkin-tins full of burnt matches and matchbooks and wax. and a wine bottle covered in...just about anything flammable we could find, held together with lots MORE wax. *wrinkles nose* and now my hair smells like lavander and cinnamon, and...actually...i'm getting cinnamon powder all over anything my head touches. oops.
and the robinsons came to applefest, which was great, cause i'm coming over a hill and there i see...like in slo-mo, practically, it's so creepy...this woman's head...then her husbands...then one son...then the next...and then there's like this whole mafia-like gang of the robinsons like storming the place; five, six some kids and all their respective boy and girlfreinds...and these kids all look the same age (aka like seventeen to nineteen) and they've all got their significant others in tow, and THEY all look like family, they look so similar...except for billy, who's my age, and very immature and pretty damn funny. so that was good fun. very attractive family, actually; all the kids are skinny, tall, with long hair (taylor matson only not so afro and brown not blond, sarah-jane W hair only with a bit of brown and waist length) and...quite frightning actually. the older boy babysitted us once. we played scrabble. he kicked my ass, but that was back in the day. now i'd love to see who was kicking whom, heheh. oh, and they all wear like nirvana t-shirts to church. and huge baggy pants. or like hippy skirts. heheh...i love our church.
my only regret this weekend was that i didn't get to see mary's play. and i'm not sure if the other girls did either. huh.
oh and nick might come to the dance with me..."as a freind only" (thank god) and only if his homework's done or something. i'm either gonna see if i can sic leah on him (*elbows leah* see if ya'll can make some people there turn green, eh?) or set him up with somebody weird. we'll see. ok, i'll see ya'll at school, anyway.
oh, and did anyone read the front page of the post today? about that kid in the bible belt?
