Do babies have music preference?

It seems to be the "professional" opinion that babies be exposed to classical music to help their development. Does it have to be Vivaldi, Mozart and Beethoven stuff only?

What I remember reading is that babies (even in the womb) benefit from listening to Mozart. Not any classical music, but Mozart in in specific. As for the rest, I have no idea, but yei on the classic rock. Good Chomps!!

I've been telling my sister that I have a horror of my niece not appreciating auditory pleasures beyond what programmed radio stations offer. I think I have been successful *smirk*.

Glad to see you're back from your holidays with vim and Sam-smexxin'-dead-chick. This must mean that you need to go on vacation more often *nods firmly*.
