Masks and Armor class: Final Mask Projects Part Two!
Three more projects from my students, these being grouped together as "not-bigheads."
Second-year grad Corinne Hodges created this traditionally-sculpted leather mask.
First year grad Erin Abbenante created this horse headdress from
Wonderflex and china silk. He has great motion with the wearer's gait!
PRC Props Assistant Joncie Sarratt did a full-head lifecast of classmate Colleen Dobson in order to create some scenic bust sculptures. At left is a finished version complete with sculpted historical hairstyle and a "bronze" finish treatment. At right is a plaster cast before any further hair/drapery sculpting or paint finishing.
